Theaker Limited Stocktakers and Valuers were established in 1959. In 1968 a merger between Theaker Limited and Orridge & Company took place. In 1996 the two companies de-merged and a successful management buyout of Theaker Limited followed.

The newly formed company initially concentrated on licensed trade and corporate clients before branching out into retail. Specialist departments were developed to offer stocktaking services to newsagency, convenience stores and community pharmacy, doctors surgeries, chemist shops and health centres.
